OUR MANDATE: Construction of a collaborative office building

Services rendered

THE PROJECT: Construction of a 6-storey office building with 18,300 sq. ft. each and a 7,500 sq. ft. sports field with terrace located in Montreal. A 3-storey underground parking lot is added to the project, in which dedicated spaces for electric cars and shared cars are available.

This project redefines the traditional office space by offering a multidisciplinary room accessible to all, an on-site cafeteria with chef and brigade as well as a complete gym on the roof with a basketball court in the summer and an ice rink in the winter.

This building is one of the first to acquire WELL certification in Montreal. The WELL standard is a performance-based system that measures, certifies and monitors the functionalities of a building that affect the health and well being of its occupants through air, water, food, light, fitness, comfort and mood. WELL is based on research exploring the connections between the building, where we spend 90% of our time, and its impact on our health and well-being as occupants.

For this project, our engineers had to rethink the way they design plans and specifications in order to improve user comfort in terms of acoustics (engine noise), visual (lighting), air quality and temperature (ventilation system).
